I am pleased to provide you with this 2001 edition of the Firearms Curios or Relics List. This publication is a cumulative digest of curio and relic classifications made by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) and, this year, it also provides an overview of regulations applicable to licensed collectors. I hope this publication proves useful to you in your collecting activities and will serve as a ready reference for those regulatory provisions that affect licensed collectors. I believe firearms collectors play a major role in preserving a part of America's history.
