The Croton Dam Forecast Point for the Muskegon RIver will Replace
the Newaygo Forecast Point
On Tuesday, November 30th, 2004, the National Weather Service will discontinue
the forecast point for the Muskegon River at Newaygo. The forecast point at Croton
Dam will be replacing the discontinued forecast point.
The Tallman Road Forecast Point for the Eagle River will Replace
the Hinman Road Forecast Point
On Tuesday, November 30th, 2004, the National Weather Service will discontinue
the forecast point for the Eagle River at Hinman Road near Eagle. The forecast
point at Tallman Road near Eagle will be replacing the discontinued forecast point.
Wanted: Volunteer Observer in or near Maple Rapids, Michigan
The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Grand Rapids is seeking
a volunteer in Clinton County to take precipitation and river readings on
the Maple River near Maple Rapids, Michigan. Training and equipment for
taking the precipitation and river readings will be provided. It is preferred
that the volunteer have Internet access. A minimum 2 year commitment is required.

temperature and precipitation. Training and equipment provided. It
is preferred that the volunteer have Internet access.
