Testing a New Hybrid Ocean Circulation Model Based on POP

Dr. Bryan will collaborate with researchers at Los Alamos National Laboratory to test a hybrid vertical coordinate version of the widely used Parallel Ocean Program (POP) ocean general circulation model. The POP model is an essential component of several state-of-the-art coupled climate models.
