Search the FDA Publications Database

Regulatory decisions at FDA are based on the best available scientific knowledge and research. FDA's staff scientists actively contribute through mission relevant research activities and publication of these findings in the scientific literature. The FDA Publications Database provides a listing of the Agency's contributions to this knowledge.

The FDA Publications Database contains listings for articles written by Agency scientists from 1998 to present. Most of the listings have an 'Abstract' that summarizes the content of the publication. The full text for the publication can be obtained from scientific and medical libraries, or directly from the publisher.
