During the 229th celebration of the Navy Birthday, 27-year-old Bristol, Wis., native Sgt. Michael A. Flaningam, trumpet player, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band, plays "Taps" in front of the Prisoner of War/Missing in Action table setting during a commemorative portion of the ceremony. The birthday ceremony was held at the base theater aboard the air base at Al Asad, Iraq, Oct. 15.
