DOE R&D Project Summaries Database

This searchable database contains over 22,000 descriptions of the Department of Energy's R&D projects. Projects pertaining to DOE activities in basic energy science, physics, biology, fossil energy, environmental management, and energy efficiency and renewable energy are some of the many disciplines covered in these descriptions.

EPA Science Inventory

The database contains more than 4,000 science activities such as research, technical assistance and assessments, along with more than 750 peer-reviewed products and 19,000+ records. Provided are EPA project descriptions, products produced, types of peer review, links to related work and contacts for additional information.

NIH CRISP Database – Current and Historical Awards

CRISP (Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects) is a searchable database of federally-funded biomedical research projects conducted at universities, hospitals, and other research institutions that are funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other government agencies. This search encompasses 2000-to-present records only.

NSF Awards Database

The database has information about research projects that NSF has funded since 1989. It includes abstracts that describe the research and the names of principal investigators and their institutions.

SBA Technology Resources Network (Tech-Net)

Information containing Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) awards, Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) awards, Advanced Technology Program (ATP) awards, and Manufacturing Extension Partners (MEP) centers. USDA Current Research Information System (CRIS)

CRIS is the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) documentation and reporting system for ongoing and recently completed research projects in agriculture, food and nutrition, and forestry. Projects are conducted or sponsored by USDA research agencies, state agricultural experiment stations, the state land-grant university system, other cooperating state institutions, and participants in a number of USDA-administered grant programs.
