Welcome to PMTS - The place to come for information about Reclamation's policy, management, and technical services, Chief Information Officer, and international affairs! PMTS includes 6 major organizations:

The Management Services Office (MSO) provides leadership for Reclamation's administrative programs, including human resources management, business analysis, financial management, supply and property management, and acquisition management.

The Office of Program and Policy Services (OPPS) is responsible for performing analyses of Reclamation wide resource management issues, policies, and related matters; developing, formulating, and evaluating the implementation of resource management policies, standards, regulations, and guidance affecting Reclamation’s mission objectives; formulating new initiatives and programs; and providing liaison with the Department of the Interior, other agencies, and outside groups. The roles and responsibilities of the Office of Program and Policy Services fall into the three general areas of Program Analysis, Program Policy and Program Support.

The Technical Service Center (TSC) provides scientific, research, and engineering services related to water resource management and development. We are customer focused for fast, flexible, and friendly services.

The Chief Information Office (CIO) is responsible for program coordination, execution, and oversight of all information technology (IT) functions Bureau-wide.

Research and Natural Resources forms Reclamation's crucial scientific and technical backbone to find effective solutions to complex water management challenges. We research, develop, demonstrate, and deploy state-of-the-art technology to find new tools, understand our water systems, and develop flexibility.

International Affairs consists of a variety of activities, including technology exchange, training, and technical assistance to further U.S. foreign policy, enhance public health or promote sustainable development in developing countries, support U.S. private sector participation in the international marketplace, and obtain improved technology for the benefit of Reclamation water users and the United States.
