Transportation Management Policy
Governmentwide Transportation Management Policy Council (GTMPC)
The GTMPC is an interagency council comprised of federal agency professionals involved in transportation management. Its mission is to collaborate with agencies and industry to identify better business practices, electronic management systems, and education programs, which will enable more effective and efficient transportation management systems in government. The Council provides a forum for the exchange of information and ideas to solve common problems relating to the government's use of transportation services and facilities. The Council will establish working groups and task forces as necessary to investigate and solve the different challenges facing the federal transportation manager.
