The Governmentwide Transportation Management Policy Council (GTMPC) is an interagency council comprised of federal agency professionals involved in transportation management. Its mission is to collaborate with agencies and industry to identify better business practices, electronic management systems, and education programs, which will enable more effective and efficient transportation management systems in government.

The GTMPC accomplishes its mission through working groups and task forces created to find solutions to governmentwide transportation issues. Currently the GTMPC has working group’s tackling issues concerned with transportation data, electronic commerce, security, and KnowNet.  Please visit working groups for additional information.
