Federal Supply Service Office of the FSS Chief Information Officer

The Federal Supply Service (FSS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) provides full-service information technology (IT) and information management services to worldwide FSS activities.  The OCIO develops the FSS IT Vision in partnership with senior FSS managers, and develops the FSS IT Strategic Plan and Capital Budget that provide near- and long-term guidance for FSS IT activities and initiatives. 

The OCIO provides IT consulting services, ranging from needs assessments and requirement analysis to life-cycle systems support.  The OCIO develops new systems, operates, maintains, and enhances IT systems, and provides the supporting IT infrastructure.  Further, the OCIO plans for, coordinates, and manages the acquisition of IT-related resources and the delivery of other IT procurement and training services.

In addition to special support staff (e.g., IT Security), the FSS OCIO comprises three Integrated Customer Divisions, an E-Business Division, an IT Infrastructure Division, and an IT Support Division.
