		Meeting/Conference Space Bid

Submitting a proposal in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP) is voluntary. Responses to this RFP will be evaluated to identify a establishment which has demonstrated the ability to meet this requirement as posted; is cost effective; has a good past performance history; and provides the best overall value to the NSF for this external meeting space requirement. All information received will be incorporated into any resulting purchase order official record. The documentation will be retained for one year after any award or until final payment has been made, whichever is later. If this RFP is cancelled, a cancellation file will be retained for five years. Comments or questions regarding this statement or use of this information may be directed to das-procstaff@nsf.gov.

Event description:		A panel of experts are being invited to review preliminary proposals received against the ITEST solicitation # 02-147.

Location:		Washington Metro Area
Other requirements:		The site for the meeting should be within walking distance to the subway systems. Not more than four city blocks.

Other information:	The large room for orientation will need to be set-up theatre style to accommodate 40 people. The break-out rooms will need to be set-up conference style -- there will be about eight computers set up per room.
