Mission

The Office of Management advises and assists the Secretary and Deputy Secretary in the management of the annual planning and budget process and on matters involving the internal management of the Department and its bureaus. The office oversees the Department's management programs, which include personnel, training, affirmative action, equal employment opportunity, security, planning and management analysis, financial management, information systems, property management, procurement, and contracting.

Office of the Curator
The Office of the Curator manages the cultural resources of the Treasury Building and Treasury Annex. To that end, the Office provides museum-quality care and management for the collection of fine and decorative arts, historic preservation technical guidance, and tour experiences, exhibitions and other educational opportunities for the public.

Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Organization and Change Management
The office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Organization and Change Management (DASOCM) is responsible for facilitating the achievement of Treasury’s strategic objectives by creating, implementing, and sustaining an environment that embraces change. DASOCM’s three divisions; the Office of Change Initiatives (OCI), the Treasury Building and Annex Repair and Restoration (TBARR) program and the HR Connect Program Office (HRCPO) work together to provide organizational leadership through excellence in innovation and direction.

Office of the Deputy Chief Financial Officer
The Office of the Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO) provides policy advice to the Assistant Secretary for Management & CFO and other executives on all Department-wide financial management matters and has Department-wide responsibility for implementing the provisions of the Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990 and the Government Management Reform Act of 1994. This office publishes the Performance and Accountability Report and has information on Treasury Franchising.

Office of Human Resources
The Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Human Resources and Chief Human Capital Officer (DASHR/CHCO) serves as the corporate head of human resources for the Department of the Treasury, including all Treasury bureaus. At the Departmental level, it is our responsibility to provide strategic direction, oversight, policy and advisory services to each of the Treasury bureaus in all areas of human resources management. The Office develops, implements and evaluates Department-wide policies and programs for a broad range of human resource issues, including employment, executive resources, labor and employee relations, equal opportunity and diversity, workforce development, performance management and compensation. The Office includes four divisions, the Office of Human Resources Strategy and Solutions, the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity, the Treasury Executive Institute as well as the Office of Human Resources Operations for the Departmental Offices. Office of Performance Budgeting
The Office of Performance Budgeting ensures that the management processes across Treasury support the execution of Treasury's strategic plan, focusing on current and prospective resource allocations to bureaus that will achieve the highest level of desirable program effects. This office has information on the FY 2004 Budget.

Office of the Procurement Executive
The Office of the Procurement Executive provides guidance for Department wide procurement programs and system; evaluates bureau procurement operations using balanced scorecard performance measures; directs and expands the use of streamlined, cost effective means of procurement, including purchase cards, commercial item acquisitions, performance based service contracting, and contractor past performance; implements, where necessary, statutory mandates; oversees the activities of the Departmental Advocate for Competition; and administers a Department wide career education program for procurement professionals pursuant to Treasury Directive 12-11, "Procurement Authority." Office of Small Business Development
The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization website was designed to assist small, small disadvantaged, and women-owned small businesses. Our goal is to help historically underutilized businesses to develop and grow, and to foster an environment where these highly skilled suppliers can, on their own merits, compete successfully for a fair share of Treasury contracts and subcontracts.
