Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Organization and Change Management


MISSION

Organizational change is necessary to achieve meaningful improvements and meet future challenges. The mission of the office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Organization and Change Management (DASOCM) is to create, implement, and sustain an environment that embraces change to facilitate achievement of Treasury's strategic objectives for Treasury and the American people. Three offices working together form the Office of Organization and Change Management and provide a wide-range of administrative, technical, and support services to help Treasury bureaus implement change initiatives.


Contents

Office of Change Initiatives (OCI)
OCI is organized to proactively identify, respond to, and guide change and improvement opportunities through analysis, consulting services, and change management tools. OCI focuses on cross-cutting initiatives and manages special projects with Treasury-wide impact.

HR Connect Program Office (HRCPO)
HRCPO is responsible for implementing technology-based business solutions with enterprise-wide impact. HRCPO manages the overall modernization efforts of HR systems through deployment of HR Connect, Treasury's new state-of-the-art HR management system, and serves as the official Departmental liaison to the National Finance Center (NFC), Treasury's payroll provider.

Treasury Building and Annex Repair and Restoration (TBARR)
TBARR is responsible for renovating and preserving the aesthetics of the historic Treasury Building, and at the same time modernizing the interior to accommodate a modern office environment that meets current life-safety codes and provides state-of-the-art infrastructure systems and support for new and evolving office operations and IT technology.
