This organization solicits metal frames in any condition, unbroken plastic framed glasses, sunglasses, hearing aids, cataract lenses, and precious metal scrap. Cash received from the sale of metal-framed glasses and precious metal scrap is used to purchase new prescription glasses for the needy in the United States. Reusable plastic-framed glasses are sent abroad for redistribution. A brochure describing the organization's program and providing suggestions for local organizations conducting campaigns to collect the requested materials is available.
