Office of Information Resources Management (OIRM)

About Us

Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Information Resources Management (OIRM) is to establish and provide: assistance and guidance on the use of technology-supported business process reengineering; investment analysis; performance measurement; strategic development and application of information systems and infrastructure; policies to provide improved management of information resources and technology; and better, more efficient service to our clients and employees.

The Office is supervised by the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information Resources Management/HHS CIO, who reports to the Assistant Secretary for Budget, Technology and Finance. The CIO serves as the primary IT leader for the Department.
