Cases are shipped from the Cincinnati Submission Processing Center to a centralized files unit located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Cases are sorted by postmark date, type of application and by level of review required.

The centralized files unit assigns and ships cases to the Technical Screening Centers and/or to Employee Plans Specialists according to inventory needs.
(This process results in the cases being assigned nationwide since the screening centers and specialists are located throughout the U.S.)
