What is XML?

XML is the acronym for eXtensible Markup Language, the universal format for structured documents and data on the Web. XML is an industry-standard protocol administered by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)

What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for distributing and aggregating Web content (such as news headlines). Using RSS, Web content providers can easily create and disseminate feeds of data that include, for example, news links, headlines, and summaries.

Terms of Use

The feeds are provided free of charge for use by federal agencies. We ask that you provide attribution to "The Office of Personnel Management (OPM)" in connection with your use of the feeds.
