Important Registration Information

The Marine Corps Museum Registrar, whose office is located at the Museums Branch at Quantico, Virginia, provides administrative oversight for all Marine Corps historical property.

Individuals, units, and organizations requesting assistance from the Registrar are encouraged to conduct their own preliminary informative research prior to initiating any form of request. Official and unofficial correspondence should be sent to:

The Registrar is responsible for donations, the reporting and disposition of historical property, the transfer of historical property from one unit to another, reporting Marine Corps heritage assets as well as for guidance on matters concerning the manual for the Marine Corps Historical Program.
