This Web site is designed to assist the Federal Student Aid office in its mission to ensure that students and their families are aware of, have access to, and apply for postsecondary financial assistance. If you have a Web site visited by potential college students, their parents, counselors, or other mentors, you can help us get accurate information to your audience about federal student aid.

Option 3

Federal Student Aid for College or Career School - The U.S. Department of Education provides grants, loans, and work-study opportunities to eligible students attending participating colleges or career schools. The Department is the source of nearly 70 percent of all student aid awarded in the U.S. each year. The vast majority of the Department's aid is not based on academic merit.
