Mission

Defense Logistics Agency Europe (DLA-E) is the Defense Logistics Agency's focal point for US European Command (EUCOM) issues. We provide a single DLA interface for EUCOM warfighters, reaching back to other DLA activities in Europe and the continental United States for logistics solutions.

We provide on-site, tailored customer support through our network of customer service representatives. Additionally, our liaison and planners in Stuttgart, Ramstein Air Base and Heidelberg, Germany, and Naples, Italy, help logisticians at EUCOM and its subordinates plan operations and exercises.

We train and field DLA Contingency Support Teams (DCST) when requested by the EUCOM combatant commander. Currently, two DCSTs are operating in the European Theater. One at Eagle Base provides logistics solutions for military personnel in Bosnia-Herzegovina, while the other at Camp Bondsteel supports operations in Kosovo.

We also provide common support for other DLA organizations in Europe.

Our geographic responsibility is the same as EUCOM's. We are responsible for 20 million square miles, covering 91 nations in Europe, Africa and Asia. Our area extends from 500 miles off the Atlantic coast of the United States to the Pacific coast of Russia.
