If you provide direct counseling services to students or are in a position to advise them (as a teacher or mentor, for example), you should visit the FSA for Counselors Web site.

“FSA for Counselors” provides information about basic college access and financial aid for middle school, high school, and TRIO counselors. Features include the High School Counselor’s Handbook, federal student aid publications (with instructions on how to print or order them), videoconferences, and scripts and slides for presenting a financial aid night. Click the Resources tab at the top of the counselor Web page to locate selected financial aid professionals in your community who can assist you.

Please share this Web site with counselors in your area and with others who help guide students toward postsecondary education.

Don’t forget to bookmark the page. Next time, you can go directly to the site, located at http://fsa4schools.ed.gov/counselors.
