NASA/KSC plans to issue a solicitation for Refurbish Indian River Bridge, including options for additional crack repair,additional pipe jackets, additional bridge steel clean/painting, and bridge diaghram repairs. The work generally consists of above water concrete repairs, concrete repair -prestressed concrete open girders, concrete repair - concrete pile caps, and cleaning and painting of steel members.
The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and the effort shall be completed within 210 calendar days after notice to proceed.
The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 237310 and 12,000,000, respectively.
The anticipated release date of the solicitation is on or about 15 October, 2004 with an anticipated closing date of on or about 15 November, 2004.

This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
