The BWG (co-chaired by the ACES vendors) brings together agencies and ACES vendors to discuss agency PKI needs and how those needs can be addressed as well as agency PKI lessons learned.

The HCWG (chaired by the Department of the Health & Human Services) is comprised of federal agencies in the health care sector that discuss PKI-related issues and concerns as it pertains to these agencies.

The LPWG (chaired by NOAA) provides legal and policy support to the Federal PKI Steering Committee and the Federal PKI Policy Authority.

The TWG (chaired by the National Institute of Standards and Technology) includes both agencies and industry focusing on the technical aspects of PKI planning and implementation, PKI directory support, interoperability, and other related topics.
