The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

      Spc. Jeremy F. Regnier, 22, of Littleton, N.H., died October 13 in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol.  Regnier was assigned to the Army’s 4^th Battalion, 5^th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 1^st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
