The web site for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration/National Ocean Service (NOAA/NOS) office responsible for oil-spill response modeling for the U.S. government is:

For assistance with NOAA trajectory analysis and spill-related issues, contact your local NOAA Scientific Support Coordinator (SSC). You can find out how to contact your local SSC from the NOAA Hazardous Materials Response Division (HAZMAT) main office at (206) 526-6317.

If you need to report a spill:

Report all oil and chemical spills in U.S. waters to the U.S. Coast Guard National Response Center at 1-800-424-8802.
