EPO
is an office within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), located in
Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. CDC is an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services.
EPO Mission:
To strengthen the public health system by coordinating public health surveillance at
CDC and providing domestic and international support through scientific communications,
statistical and epidemiologic consultation, and training of experts in surveillance,
epidemiology, applied public health, and prevention effectiveness.
