DTIC®
Annual Users Conference
• The 30th edition of DTIC's Annual Users Meeting and Training Conference
was held 29 March - 1 April at the Hilton Old Town in Alexandria, Virginia.
A major element of the DTIC mission, the Conference, held yearly in the
Washington, D.C. area during the March-April time frame, is part of informing
and interacting with customers, advancing information science, and showcasing
initiatives. Approximately 300 people, including scientists, engineers
and professionals in the technology research, development, information
science and acquisition communities, attended the event. Participants
represent the Department of Defense, other federal agencies, their contractors
and potential contractors.
DTIC Training
• DTIC provides specialized training courses for our
registered users; a sampling of courses
include STINFO Manager training, and Searching DTIC's Databases using Private STINET.
Tours and
Briefings
• DTIC conducts a general briefing on its products and services including
a tour of its Headquarters facilities on a quarterly basis.
