Fees/Admission:Visitors to the Herbert Hoover Library-Museum pay a single fee which also admits them to President Hoover's Birthplace, his father's blacksmith shop, a Quaker meetinghouse, a pioneer schoolhouse, and the President's gravesite. We invite you to visit all these attractions which make up the Herbert Hoover National Historic Site as well as 76 acres of prairie located a few hundred feet south of the Library building.

Hours: The museum is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily. We are only closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. For after-hours events, special arrangements must be made ahead of time.

Tours: Guided tours are offered Monday-Friday to groups of 15 or more. Please phone (319) 643-5301 to make reservations. Self-guided groups are always welcome.

Clubs/Parties/Meetings: The museum has conference rooms that can accommodate up to 50 people and other rooms for club meetings and catered parties.

Catered Functions: We will be pleased to work with your group to plan a catered meal, party or reception.

Auditorium: The museum has a newly remodeled auditorium that can seat 180 people.

Museum Gift Shop: The museum gift shop has unique souvenirs for the history buff as well as many Christmas ornaments and Iowa souvenirs.

The Hoover Presidential Library Museum and the Hoover Birthplace Cottage lie within the 186-acre Herbert Hoover National Historic Site, located in West Branch, 10 miles east of Iowa City, just off Interstate 80 at Exit 254.
