Section 508 - Accessibility Standards

Section 508 is a part of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 which requires that electronic and information technology developed, procured, maintained, or used by the Federal government, including information provided to employees and members of the public through Web sites, is accessible to people with disabilities. Under the authority of Section 508, the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board has enacted regulations setting forth accessibility standards for federal agencies' electronic and information technology, including Web pages.

Rocky Mountain Research Station is in the process of making all our pages accessible to everyone. If you have difficulty with any RMRS Web page or require an alternate version, please contact Suzy Stephens.
