Program Director in the Division of Elementary, Secondary, and Informal Education at the National Science Foundation. This involves recommending the funding of proposals in the Instructional Materials Development and Teacher Enhancement programs. Dr. Campbell reviews proposals in the biological and environmental science disciplines that affect students and/or teachers at the middle and high school levels.

Assistant and Associate Professor in Biology, Rider University, 1986-2001 (Includes IPA position as Program Director in the Division of Elementary, Secondary, and Informal Education at NSF, August 1998-August 2000). Chair of Biology Department, Rider University, 1992-1997. Visiting Assistant Professor of Zoology, University of New Hampshire, 1983-1986. Faculty, Shoals Marine Laboratory, Cornell University, 1985-2001.

Research interests and journal publications deal with the behavior, ecology, and systematics of marine invertebrates and algae.
