Photo of a meetingCharles S. Brown, Esq. is the Designated Agency Ethics Official. He is the primary officer designated by the NSF Director to administer the Foundation’s ethics program, and has over 25 years of government ethics experience. Other OGC staff members serve as the Alternate Designated Agency Ethics Official, the agency’s Deputy Ethics Official and assist with the administration of the ethics program as necessary. The OGC ethics staff is responsible for day to day management of the program, including administering financial disclosure documents, financial disclosure and conflict of interest database management, oversight of non-federal travel reimbursements, resolution of all ethics and conflict of interest issues and supporting each NSF Division ethics counselor.
