Breast Cancer - Featured Clinical Trials
1. Trial of Four Schedules of Adjuvant Chemotherapy for Breast Cancer (Posted: 03/30/2004) - This trial compares the effectiveness of four different treatment schedules using the drugs doxorubucin, cyclophosphomide, and paclitaxel in treating patients who have undergone surgery for stage l, ll, or lll breast cancer.
2. Ovarian Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Study (Posted: 03/16/2004) - This national trial will more precisely quantify the extent of cancer risk reduction following preventive surgery, assess both quality of life and the incidence of non-cancer diseases related to premature menopause, as well as evaluate a novel approach to ovarian cancer screening.
3. Breast Imaging Study (Posted: 02/10/2004) - This breast imaging study is exploring whether MRI can detect cancer better than standard mammography in women who have a genetic risk.
