Ticket To Work

The Social Security Administration, through its Ticket to Work Program Manager—MAXIMUS—has launched the Employment Network (EN) Capitalization Project. This project will enable more organizations to participate in the Ticket to Work Program as ENs. Under this Project, MAXIMUS will provide information and assistance to ENs in obtaining up-front funding sources. This upfront funding can be used to provide employment and support services to SSA beneficiaries under the Ticket Program while covering expenses incurred by the network in advance of any milestone or outcome payments received from SSA.

Available immediately is the EN Capitalization Directory. The Directory provides information on how to obtain funding from government grants, foundations and private financial institutions. It also includes information on how to leverage funding from existing sources for ENs serving individuals with intellectual, developmental and psychiatric disabilities, as well as ENs in education and One-Stop systems.

The EN Capitalization Project also makes training available to ENs on how to take advantage of capitalization resources.

Information regarding the above, including EN Capitalization Seminars, is available from MAXIMUS by visiting the Ticket to Work web site at www.yourtickettowork.com/en_cap_resource or by contacting MAXIMUS at 1-866-968-7842 or TDD number 1-866-833-2967.
