Personnel Announcement
The President today announced the recess appointments of the following
individuals:
Albert Casey, of Texas, to be a Governor of the United States
Postal Service. The President initially nominated Mr. Casey on March
4, 2002.
Bradley D. Belt, of the District of Columbia, to be a Member of the
Social Security Advisory Board. The President nominated Mr. Belt on
September 3, 2003.
Raymond Simon, of Arkansas, to be Assistant Secretary for
Elementary and Secondary Education, Department of Education. The
President nominated Mr. Simon on September 22, 2003.
The following as Members of the Board of Directors of the
Corporation for Public Broadcasting:
Gay Hart Gaines, of Florida. The President nominated Ms. Gaines on
November 17, 2003.
Claudia Puig, of Florida. The President initially nominated Ms.
Puig on January 9, 2003.
Fayza Veronique Boulad Rodman, of the District of Columbia, to be a
Member of the Broadcasting Board of Governors. The President nominated
Ms. Rodman on October 24, 2003.
The following as Members of the Board of Directors of the
Corporation for National and Community Service:
Cynthia Boich, of California. The President nominated Ms. Boich on
September 23, 2003.
Dorothy A. Johnson, of Michigan. The President nominated Ms.
Johnson on September 23, 2003.
Henry Lozano, of California. The President nominated Mr. Lozano on
September 23, 2003.
Ronald E. Meisburg, of Virginia, to be a Member of the National
Labor Relations Board. The President nominated Mr. Meisburg on
November 20, 2003.
Clark Kent Ervin, of Texas, to be Inspector General, Department of
Homeland Security. The President nominated Mr. Ervin on January 10,
2003.
Robert Lerner, of Maryland, to be Commissioner of Education
Statistics, Department of Education. The President nominated Mr.
Lerner on June 3, 2003.
