To Whom It May Concern,

As President of Local Lodge 1056 representing over 3000 members of the International Association of Machinists in New York, I write to you concerning our opposition to the FTC proposal changing the criteria for use of the made in the U.S.A. label.

Clearly, the proposed changes are misleading for consumers and are nothing more than an attempt by big business to export more U.S. jobs to countries where workers are more easily exploited.

We urge you to leave the Made in U.S.A. criteria alone. It should mean what it says and not subject to a lot of fine print.

Please reply at the above address, I remain,

Sincerely yours,

Mitchell Coleman
