Nonimmigrant Visa (NIV) Interview Wait Times & Processing Times
  • AVERAGE WAIT FOR AN NIV INTERVIEW
    Visitor (B1/B2) visas: 30 working days from today
    Student (F, M) and Exchange Visitor (J) visas: 14 working days from today
    Petition-based visas: 35 working days from today
    All other NIVs: 30 working from days

  • AVERAGE NIV PROCESSING TIME
    If you are found eligible for a visa at the time of your interview, your visa will be ready for mailing after 3 to 5 working days.
