Information for mammography facility personnel, inspectors, and consumers               about the implementation of the Mammography Quality Standards Act of 1992 (MQSA)

Introduction Welcome to the Facility Scorecard web pages. These pages will present information pertaining to the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) data on the Mammography Quality Standards Act’s (MQSA) program and facilities, and facility feedback.

Our objective is threefold:

• to inform the public on how mammography facilities are doing with regard to MQSA standards,
• to allow your facility to compare itself to the rest of the nation, and
• to provide a mechanism for facilities to contact FDA regarding the scorecard and other MQSA issues.

This web page will provide information about national inspection results, frequently-requested national statistical data, and eventually, a series of “Frequently Asked Questions.” Our ultimate goal is to help facilities improve the quality of their mammography by allowing them to see how they compare to other facilities nationwide.
