The Natural Sounds Program Center, located in both Fort Collins and Denver, Colorado, is a detached unit of the National Park Service’s (NPS) Washington Office Division of Natural Resources. It functions as a national office that provides advice, guidance, and technical support in characterizing and preserving park soundscapes. The program currently resides within the Air Resources Division of the National Park Service, whose division chief is located in Denver, Colorado.
