SUBJECT: Political Activities

As Federal employees we have certain rights and obligations regarding political activities.

Given the complexities of these rights and obligations, the Office of Special Counsel (OSC), an independent federal investigative and prosecutorial agency, has requested that all Executive Branch employees with questions regarding political activities call the OSC hotline on 1-800-572-2249.

Employees paid above the grade level GS-15 must be particularly mindful of these guides for their obligations are more stringent than those graded GS-15 and below.
