Teacher and Student Resources

Welcome to the Teacher and Student Resources section of the USCIS Website. There is a wealth of information to be mined from our Website.

It is our firm belief that understanding immigration and the role it played and continues to play in U.S. history and governance is important to the education of all Americans. Immigration and related subjects are included in the curricula of most elementary schools, studied again in middle schools and then in greater depth in high schools. The purpose of this section is to support those efforts by helping teachers and students identify relevant information.

The following topics link to documents on our Website which we consider might be of particular interest and importance to promoting that understanding of immigration.

We invite you to make suggestions regarding the further development of this page. While we may not be able to respond individually to every suggestion we receive, your comments will be carefully considered.
