Programs for High School Teachers

REVEL (Research and Education: Volcanoes, Exploration and Life)
The essence of the REVEL Project is the interaction of highly-motivated science teachers hungry for opportunities to engage in science and innovative scientists pursuing cutting-edge research. The scope of this research encompasses a wide variety of scientific problems that range from the origin of life to new aspects of biotechnology.

Voyage to Puna Ridge
Read daily updates as scientists for the first time map, photograph, and collect samples from Puna Ridge.

Learn about  life on board a research ship, the scientific process, and the day-to-day decisions that go into carrying out such an ambitious project.
Participate in the innovative learning activities directed by the Hawaii E-School teacher-on-board
