ACQUISITION AND LOGISTICS REFORM WEEK IN REVIEW

Change Through Ex-Change Conference
The Change Through Ex-Change Conference was presented on Monday, 7 June 1999 at the Crystal City Forum. This conference began two years ago to highlight various program offices' successes and share innovative ideas in a structured, creative environment. The Change Through Ex-Change video archive was available on the TV onthe WEB website.
OSD Kick Off Event
The OSD Kick-Off Event for Acquisition and Logistics Reform Week was held in the Pentagon Courtyard on 8 June 1999. Pictures of the event are available at www.acq.osd.mil/alrweek/seeme.htm. All training materials, chat room video archives, as well as an on-line survey are available at www.acq.osd.mil/alrweek.
Virtual Town Hall Meeting
The Virtual Town Meeting (VTHM), held at the Washington Navy Yard on Thursday, 10 June 1999 provided an opportunity for a live audience to speak directly to Dr. Buchanan and a panel of senior Acquisition and Logistics leaders. The satellite communications allowed interactive discussions from several sites across the continental United States. The acquisition community was also able to share their thoughts and questions via telephone, VTC, Facsimile and E-mail. The VTHM video archive was available on the TV on the WEB website. Answers to all of the questions received prior to and during the live webcast of this event will be posted on the ARO website [www.ar.navy.mil]. Make sure to look for them on our "What's New" page or within the A&LR Week section under - DoN A&LR Week Activities - Virtual Town Hall Meeting.
