Pollution Prevention Implementation

Planning is only the first step in pollution prevention. Implementing reduction measures at the activity level is where the "rubber meets the road" in the pollution prevention. We have "hands on" experience in assisting naval activities to initiate administrative measures such as the CHRIMP program for hazardous materials management.

We also have experience in implementing technologies such as process equipment, recycling systems and treatment systems. In addition, we procure centrally funded pollution prevention equipment for the Navy. Refer to the Pollution Prevention Equipment Procurement Program for more information.

We perform these projects on a reimbursable basis, using in-house resources. For more information on obtaining these services, send a message to our Field Support Manager.
