Faith-Based & Community Initiatives
|
|
Welcome to the Interfaith Health Program
supporting the Faith-Based and
Community Initiatives
at the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) and the Agency for Toxic Substances and
Disease Registry (ATSDR).
This site is designed to assist you, the leaders of
Faith-based and Community Initiatives, to identify CDC
and ATSDR funding opportunities, schedule conferences,
technical assistance, and other federal resources
that are available to support community disease
prevention and health improvement programs.
|
Through this site, you will be connected to funding
opportunities, scheduled conferences, technical
assistance materials, and other federal agencies
supporting faith-based and community initiatives.
CDC and ATSDR are agencies of the Department of Health
and Human Services (HHS). Within HHS, the
Center for
Faith-based and Community Initiatives provides links to
other HHS agencies having resources to support health
and social services. HHS and its agencies work
collaboratively with the
White House
Office for Faith-based and Community Initiatives.
Through the White House Office, you can find
information on all other federal agencies supporting
faith-based and community initiatives.
