| Temporary Roofing Center Relocates In Palm Beach County
» More Information on Florida Hurricane Frances ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Palm Beach County center for application for temporary roofing installation will relocate on Monday, Oct. 18, to Gaines Park, 1501 N. Australian Avenue, West Palm Beach. The new Gaines Park location will be open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day, including weekends. Operation BLUE ROOF assistance is provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The recent hurricanes have left many homeowners with damaged roofs, and permanent repairs can take time. Homeowners can have a blue plastic temporary roof installed over their damaged roof area FREE OF CHARGE by Corps of Engineers contractors. The current Palm Beach County centers for temporary roofing application, Jupiter Civic Center and Boynton Beach Civic Center, will close on Sunday evening. The BLUE ROOF temporary roofing program is provided by FEMA through the Corps of Engineers. This service is provided at no cost to the property owner.
