    Diabetic Neuropathy

    A study is underway to test a drug that treats diabetic neuropathy.

    Volunteers between 18-75 years old who have diabetes and have experienced pain in the legs or feet on a daily basis for the last three months may be eligible to participate.

    The research site is in Elk Grove Village, Ill.

    Cold Sores (Herpes Labialis Infections)

    A research study is underway for an investigational medication for those who experience recurrent cold sores, also called fever blisters.

    Volunteers age 18 or older who have had at least three cold sores within the past year and are generally in good health may be eligible to participate.

    The research site is in Atlanta.

    Colorectal Cancer

    A study to assess the effectiveness of a new drug to treat colorectal cancer is underway.

    Volunteers 18 or older who have metastatic colorectal cancer (colon cancer that has spread to other organs) and whose disease has progressed during or following chemotherapy may be eligible to participate.

    The research site is in Staten Island, N.Y.
