    Diabetes - Type 2

    A research study of an investigational medication for Type 2 non-insulin dependent diabetics who are currently taking Metformin for their diabetes, and their diabetes is not well controlled. Volunteers 25 - 75 years old who have non-insulin dependent diabetes may be eligible. Research sites located throughout the United States.

    Skin Cancer

    A research study to test the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for the treatment of metastatic melanoma. Volunteers who have stage IIIb/c or stage IV melanoma (metastatic melanoma) may be eligible. Research site located in Lexington, Ky.

    Heartburn (Pediatric)

    A research study for children who suffer from heartburn or acid reflux. Eligible volunteers may include children between 12 and 17 who have been diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and have not used a proton pump inhibitor (including over-the-counter Prilosec) within 14 days prior to enrolling. Research site located in New Hyde Park, NY.
