    A study of an investigational medication for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). Volunteers 60 or older who have been diagnosed with hypertension and who do not have evidence of kidney disease or a gastrointestinal disorder may be eligible. Research site located in Bronx, NY.

    Pneumonia

    A research study of an investigational antibiotic for pneumonia. Volunteers 16 or older who have a cough, shortness of breath, fever, colored sputum and a chest X-ray indicating pneumonia may be eligible. Research site located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

    Ear Infections (Pediatric)

    A research study of a marketed antibiotic for the treatment of acute otitis media. Volunteers between the ages of six months and six years who have had an ear infection for one week or less and have at least one of the following symptoms: earache, ear pain, ear fullness, decreased hearing, or ear discharge may be eligible Research site located in West Jordan, Utah.
