  New Millenium Observatory
NeMO is a seafloor observatory at an active underwater volcano, Axial Seamount. A volcanic eruption occured at Axial in January 1998, destroying some hydrothermal vent sites and creating new ones. Since then NeMO scientists have been assessing the impact of the eruption and documenting the on-going changes in Axial's summit caldera. Through the site, you can access fly-through movies, virtual-reality panoramas, and video clips from 6 sites located in Axial's summit caldera. Also available are new curriculum materials based on NeMO research.

Teachers Experiencing Antarctica and the Arctic (TEA) is a program in which teachers travel to the polar realms to participate in ongoing research. The program, sponsored by NSF, is a partnership between teachers, researchers, and school districts.

 Secrets@Sea
Secrets@Sea was produced by Engaging Science - a partnership of the Pacific Space Centre, Science World and the Vancouver Aquarium. Engaging Science provides teacher training workshops as well as books, videos and other science education resources.
