Today's teens: "Techno-Whizzes" or "Low Techies"?

A new CNN/USA Today/NSF/Gallup survey suggests that American teenagers are very interested in and reliant on modern technology both in the conduct of their daily lives and in terms of the subject matter that interests them at school. PAEMST
President Clinton has recognized 214 mathematics and science teachers for their innovative and outstanding contributions to their profession under the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) program. Next Generation Internet
Moving the nation one step closer to a newer, high-speed version of the Internet, NSF has made grants to 35 U.S research institutions that will allow them to connect to NSF's very high speed Backbone Network Service (vBNS), an extremely sophisticated telecommunications system that enables scientists across the continent to share powerful computing resources.    More...
